Obituary of Frank "Bill" Felt

Bill Felt, 58, of 25 Hess St. Jamestown passed away unexpectedly on Friday May 28, 2010. A lifelong area resident he was born February 12, 1952 in Jamestown, the son of the late Frank Edward and Wilma Felt. Bill was a four year veteran of the U.S. Army where he proudly served in Germany. He was employed as a head custodian for the Jamestown Public School System where he worked for 21 years at C.C. Ring Elementary School, Love Elementary and Persell Middle School. Bill was a pillar of strength and support for his family and will always be remembered for his love of the great outdoors, love of all animals great and small, love of his four beautiful grandchildren and the challenge of target shooting. He cherished the times he spent with his family and friends at the family camp on Canadohta Lake in Pennsylvania. Surviving are his soulmate and the love of his life, his wife Penny L. Baumgardner Felt whom he married July 17, 1987: his two daughters who truly considered him the "Worlds Best Dad': Lisa (Jeffrey) Sobocinski of Celoron, Jennifer (Steven) Badgley of Jamestown, four grandchildren: Emma and Connor Sobocinski of Celoron, Asia LaMancuso and Max Badgley of Jamestown; a sister, Peggy Felt of Rochester, NY; a nephew, Benjamin Felt of New York City and his step-mother Analinda B. Felt of Jamestown. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home.
