Obituary of Rachel E. Timblin

Rachel E. Timblin, 75, of Jamestown passed away Sunday August 30, 2015 in WCA Hospital. She was born September 25, 1939 in Pittsburgh, PA the daughter of the late Fred and Elizabeth Caskey Hall Sr. For over 25 years, she owned Rachel's Cleaning Service in Jamestown. In earlier years, she was a nursing volunteer in the area. She loved music, old movies, and was a collector of fine art. Rachel was liked and admired by everyone. Her smile could brighten everyone's day. Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Howard Timblin Jr.; two daughters, Sherry (Rick Boorsma) Spinney of Hamilton, Ontario; Laraine (Jimmy) Mills of Virginia; four grandchildren, Jessica Spinney, Dylan Spinney, Jason (Kelly Harrell) Allen, and Rex Allen; and one great granddaughter, Adaleane Ella Grace Allen. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Hall Jr. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home.
