Obituary of Melissa J. Webb

Melissa J. Webb, 48, of 13 Crown St. passed away unexpectedly at 8:25 a.m. Monday, September 28, 2015 in her home. A lifelong area resident, she was born December 23, 1966 in Jamestown, NY a daughter of Lena "Lee" Vibbert and the late William R. "Bill" Webb. Melissa was a 1985 graduate of Jamestown High School. She will be remembered as a loving and caring daughter, sister, aunt cousin and friend. She had a keen interest in health, fitness and nutrition. Surviving are her mother, Lee Webb of Jamestown, her companion Denny Sealy, with whom she made her home, three sisters, Kim (Charles) Borton, Leslie (Bob) Rew both of Jamestown, Sherri (Jeff) Lindstrom of Salisbury, NC, her aunt, Mary Ann Taylor of Spring Hill, FL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her father William R. "Bill" Webb who died June 26, 2014 The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home. Pastor Scott Waterman, her nephew, will officiate. Friends will be received from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
