Obituary of Harold F. Spink

Harold Floyd Spink, 82, went to be with his Lord Tuesday, November 17, 2015. He was born November 1, 1933 in Warren, PA, a son of the late Carl and Ethel Rawlings Spink. Harold graduated from Sugar Grove-Farmington High School in 1952. He was employed in a gas station through his high school years. Later he worked at Art Metal for 20 years, Interroyal, superintendent of highways for Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for 4 years and several auto sales agencies. Following retirement he drove disabled children to school for many years. Harold was an active member of First Covenant Church having served as usher, deacon, several committees and was in charge of the recording ministry for over 35 years. He was a proud to be an American and was a Democratic Party committeeman in Warren County, PA for over 40 years. Surviving are his wife of 54 years Dolores Schrader Spink; three children Christine Lynne Spink, David Andrew Spink and Dora Spink Miller; three grandchildren Elizabeth (Danyele) Wynn, Paulamos Miller and Naomilynn Miller and two great grandchildren Devlin Miller and Scarlett Miller. He will also be missed by his dog Gretchen and his granddog Daisy. He was preceded in death by his parents and six brothers and sisters. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Visitation will not be observed.
