Obituary of Marilyn Clare Johnson

Marilyn Clare Johnson, 80, of 110 West third St. Jamestown, passed away at 12:20 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2017, in UPMC Chautauqua W.C.A. The daughter of the late Milton and Anna Elvira Amelia Johnson, she was a lifelong resident of Jamestown, NY. She was a 1955 graduate of Southwestern Central School and had attended Keuka College. Marilyn was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Jamestown where she was baptized in 1949 and had been active in the Circle 2 group and Sunday School. Surviving are two nephews, Eric and Jonathan. Besides her father who died August 7, 1973 and her mother who died February 15, 1983, she was preceded in death by a sister Nancy. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2017, in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Michael Childs, pastor of the First Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Lake View Cemetery.
