Obituary of Martha V. Johnson

Martha V. Johnson, 79, passed away Sunday February 26, 2017 in Memory Garden. She was born May 5, 1937 in Jamestown the daughter of the late Louis and Josephine Pollaro Vrusho. Martha had worked as a receptionist in the office of Dr. Woodward, and previously at the former Jamestown General Hospital and Jamestown Telephone Co. She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Martha was a caring and loving person whose family meant everything to her. Surviving are two daughters: Janelle Weilacher of Jamestown; Michelle Domenici of Wilmington, DE; four grandchildren: Taylor and Jonathan Domenici both of Wilmington, DE; Brittany Weilacher of Rochester, NY; Christopher Weilacher of Jamestown; four great grandchildren: Bryson, Collin, Gianna, and Phillip; and a sister, Ann (Robert) Lamp of Jamestown. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. "Chuck" Johnson whom she married December 3, 1955 and who died December 5, 2010; and a son-in-law, Steven Domenici. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed.
