Obituary of Kay B. Nary

Kay B. Nary, 78, of 25 Cherry St. Frewsburg, NY, passed away at 5:00 a.m. Thursday, April 6, 2017, in the Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility. A lifelong area resident, she was born December 2, 1938 in Jamestown, NY a daughter of the late Jerald A. and Catherine Stilson Bird. Kay was a 1956 graduate of Southwestern Central School and was a member of the New Covenant Assembly Church in Jamestown. Before her retirement, she was an executive administrative assistant for the Resource Center where had worked for 35 years. She will be remembered as a loving and caring mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family, especially her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a volunteer for the St. Susan's Center Soup Kitchen, a literacy volunteer at the James Prendergast Library and following her retirement had volunteered at the Resource Center. Surviving are two daughters, Vicky (Joseph) Gratton of Jamestown, Rhonda (David) Belles of Richmond Heights, OH, six grandchildren, John Ferry of Celoron, NY, Shalin (Ronald) Harrison, Jose Perez, Lisa Perez all of Jamestown, Kasie Belles, Matthew Belles both of Canandaigua, NY, 11 great grandchildren , a great great granddaughter, Kaylynn Marie Izola Lopez and two sisters, Patricia Moran of Frewsburg, Mary Wasmann of Sun City, CA. The funeral will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Trevor Coburn, pastor of the New Covenant Assembly Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, prior to the service in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
