Obituary of Sandra J. Kelderhouse

Sandra J. "Sandy" Kelderhouse, 77, of Heritage Village Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility passed away at 4:00 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 2017, in Heritage Village. A lifelong area resident she was born November 10, 1039 in Jamestown, NY a daughter of the late John Einar and Mabel Carlson Johnson. She was a graduate of Jamestown High School and the University at Buffalo School of Nursing. She obtained her Registered Nurse license while working and living in Indianapolis, IN. Before her retirement she was the In-Service Director at the former Jamestown General Hospital where she worked for several years. In earlier years she had worked at the Millard Fillmore Hospital in Buffalo, NY. She was a former member of the St. Timothy Lutheran Church and the Ingjald Lodge 65 Independent Order of the Vikings. Surviving are a son, Bruce Anderson of Allegheny, NY, two sisters, Sharon Riggs of Jamestown, NY, Judy Slyck of Ontario, NY, two brothers, Mark (Nancy) Johnson of Lakewood, NY, Randall Johnson of Jamestown. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. "Spike" Kelderhouse who died in 2002 and a sister, Susan Rybij. A private graveside service will be held at Lake View Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed.
