Obituary of C. Timothy Miller, Jr.

C. Timothy Miller, Jr., 92, of the Heritage Village Rehab & Skilled Nursing Facility, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 in the facility. A lifelong Jamestown resident, he was born April 26, 1925, in Jamestown, the son of the late Clover Timothy and Olga Anderson Miller. He was a graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School and was a WW II veteran of the United States Navy. Before retirement, he worked for many years at Proto Tool Company and in earlier years at Art Metal Inc. He loved travel, camping, and later international trips in his retirement years with his late wife. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan, gardener, and loved building projects. He built his own house and also a wooden boat. He took pride in his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his children; Steven Miller of Dickson, TN, David (Betina) Miller of Lakeland, FL, Mary (Kevin) Davis of Belleview, FL; and grandchildren Boyd (Nicole) Johnson, Robert Johnson, Matt Miller, Joe Davis, and Nathan Davis. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, C. Irene Miller, whom passed away Feb. 12, 2017, and a sister Marietta Finson. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 15, 2017 in Seeley Auditorium on the Homestead Retirement Campus at Heritage Village. The Rev. Samuel Shreffler will officiate. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service on Saturday in Seeley Auditorium. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
