Obituary of Robert A. Storms

Robert A. Storms, 61, of 55 Melvin Ave., Celoron, NY, passed away unexpectedly at 2:08 p.m. Monday, July 17, 2017, in the emergency room of UPMC Chautauqua WCA Hospital. A lifelong area resident, he was born December 13, 1955 in Jamestown, NY a son of the late Ronald C. "Bud" Storms, Sr. and the late Patricia A. Sandbloom Storms. Bob was a self employed carpet installer for over 30 years. He was also a jack-of-all-trades handyman, helping many friends and family with any type of work that needed to be done and never expecting anything in return. He will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather who loved spending time with his family and friends. You could always depend on him to be there to calm the storm when things became scary or uncertain. Robert loved golfing with his best friend Tom Kestler and working on classic cars. He was also a member of the Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association and a fan of the Cleveland Indians. Surviving are his six children, Gina Indingaro, Janel Indingaro, Ryan Indingaro, Cory Storms, Jon Storms and Jessica Storms, his seven grandchildren, Austin, Orion, Treven, Tyja, Xavier, Landen and Rylynn and his three brothers, William Storms of Lakewood, NY, Ronald Storms, Jr. and Richard (Teri) Storms both of West Ellicott. Friends will be received from 4-7 pm Thursday, July 20th, in the Lind Funeral Home. A celebration of Robert's life will be held at a later date and time to be announced by the family.
