Obituary of Heather A. Chapman

Heather A. Chapman, 37, of 438 Windsor Street, died unexpectedly Wednesday August 30, 2017, in UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA. A native of Jamestown, she was born December 15, 1979, a daughter of Mary Hicks Blakeslee and the late Bruce Hildom. She had been employed by Wilson Farms as a cashier and had also worked for Sammy's Pit Stop and The Resource Center. She loved her family, especially her grandson. She was very proud of time spent volunteering at The Q serving Thanksgiving dinner . Surviving besides her mother of Jamestown are six children Laurel Chapman of Randolph and Alex, Xavier, Kaylee, Trent Chapman and Taleb Brown all of Jamestown and a grandson Kollin Chapman of Sugar Grove. She was preceded in death by her father April 29, 2017 and a son Jacob Chapman November 20, 2003. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Rick Huber will officiate. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service Tuesday in the funeral home.
