Obituary of Harvey Adrian Page

Harvey Adrian Page, 90, of 11 Campbell Avenue, died Sunday November 26, 2017, in Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing. He was born July 28, 1927, at home on Page Road in Frewsburg, a son of the late C. Adrian and Stella Hanson Page. He was a 1945 graduate of Jamestown High School. He was a WWII veteran of the US Navy serving in the Pacific from 1945-46. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a tool and die maker by Blackstone and previously by Proto Tool. He enjoyed watching trains and in earlier years went on rail speeder excursions with his son Dan and daughter Adrianne. Harvey said that going on excursions was "a dream come true." He was a member of North American Railcar Operators Association (NARCOA). He was an honest, loving and selfless good man who was a hero to his children and grandchildren. He could fix anything. A master woodworker, big and small projects came out of his workshop all made with love. Surviving are his former wife Sarah Jane Page; five children Daniel (Gail) Page of Huntington Beach, CA, Donald (Jeanne) Page of Borden, IN, Adrianne (Richard) Weiss of Jamestown, Julianne Page of Wheat Ridge, CO and Paul Page of Sweden; twelve grandchildren whom he adored, Becky (Mike) Pallante, Renee (James) Zahm, Mark Weiss, Matthew Page, Christopher Page, Sydney Page-Hayes, Lucinda (Gary) Lewis, Rachel (Josh) Sater, Kelly Page, Fredrik Page, Zip Sophia Page and Ian Hartsook; four great grandchildren Natalie, Isaac and Jacob Lewis and Paul James Zahm and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Alice Moore. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Daniel K. Nagle will officiated.
