Obituary of Christopher S. Byrne

Christopher S. Byrne, 56, of Jamestown, died Saturday November 25, 2017, in his home. A lifelong area resident, he was born June 24, 1961, in Jamestown, a son of Eugene and Kathleen O'Reilly Byrne. He was a 1979 graduate of Jamestown High School and later graduated from Jamestown Community College. He owned and operated Byrneco Recovery Services. He will be remembered as a good dad with a unique sense of humor who could fix anything. He was passionate about his participation in Alcoholics Anonymous and helping others. Surviving besides his parents of North Port, Fl, are two children Katherine Byrne of Warren, PA and Devlin Byrne of Jamestown; grandchildren Acadia and Ariana Roman of Warren; siblings Patrick (Melanie) Byrne and Timothy Byrne both of Rochester and Maribeth Byrne of Luxembourg, Luxemburg and six nieces and nephews Betsy, Patrick, Abby, Alex, Brendan and Colin who all referred to him as Uncle Buck. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. Friends will be received from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
