Obituary of Donald L. Aldrich

Donald L. Aldrich, 57, of 37 Linden Avenue, died Sunday March 18, 2018, in Roswell Park Memorial Cancer Institute, following a brief struggle with cancer. He was born October 6, 1960, in Riverhead, Long Island, NY, the son of the late Jerry and Vivian Besco Aldrich. He was a 1978 graduate of Jamestown High School. He was employed by Cummins Jamestown Engine Plant for many years and earlier had worked for Sunset Hill Cemetery as a member of the grounds crew. He enjoyed helping his friends and neighbors. He loved tinkering on cars and home repair projects. Surviving are two sisters Gail Ann (Stephen) Crawford of Kennedy and Amy Lea (Rick) Tilburg of Livingston, TX. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. Friends will be received from 3-6 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
