Obituary of Linda J. Harmon

Linda Davis Harmon, 58, of 20 Metcalf Ave died unexpectedly Friday (May 14, 2010) in her home. She was born November 6, 1951 in Ripley, NY the daughter of George and Opal Davis. For over 35 years, Linda was employed at the Resource Center. She enjoyed tending to her house plants, paint by number, camping, and she was an avid fan of wrestling and NASCAR. Surviving besides her father of North East, PA are, her husband of 26 years, Dale A. Harmon; two brothers, George Davis of Fredonia; Ron Davis of Westfield; and two sisters, Eunice Mann of Ripley, and Ann. She was preceded in death by her mother and her father in law, Clifford Harmon. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. Major Richard Best of the Salvation Army will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
