Obituary of Teresa M. Caskey

Teresa M. Caskey, 87, of 14 Langford St, the home of Salvatore and Eleanor Muscarella, formerly of 12 Fairmount Ave, died at 2:20 a.m. Friday (January 22, 2010) in WCA Hospital. She was born May 10, 1922 in Cavan, Ireland, the daughter of John and Bridget Brady Reilly. For 40 years, she worked as a waitress in the New Jersey area, including the Chipper Ship Restaurant. Teresa was a communicant of Holy Apostles Parish, SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Surviving are her brother in law, Raymond Caskey of Jamestown; several nieces and nephews in the United States and Ireland; friends, the Glatz family; Donna and Oran Donner; Linda and Warren Whittenhall; Barbara Hickman; Dan Hickman; and Dorothy and Hilda. She was especially fond of her cat, Kellie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert W. Caskey whom she married January 2, 1972 and who died September 21, 1992; and nine brothers and sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Holy Apostles Parish SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Jozef Dudzik will be celebrant. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home.
