Obituary of Deborah L. Marker

Deborah L. Marker, 50, of 2 Frew Run Road, Frewsburg, died Monday May 8, 2017, in her home surrounded by her family. She was born April 27, 1967, in Jamestown, a daughter of the Herbert Marker and the late Grace Carlson Marker. She was a 1985 graduate of Jamestown High School and a 1986 graduate of Jamestown Business College. She had been employed by WCA Hospital as a switchboard operator and had also worked for Carroll Rod and Gun Club as a bartender. She enjoyed the outdoors especially if it involved the sun, a beach or camping. Watching the hummingbirds return to her yard every Spring brought a smile to her face. She loved animals and will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor. Surviving besides her father of Westfield is her companion of 29 years Richard M. Windsor, with whom she made her home; two children Christopher Allen Marker of Frewsburg and Lindsay Erin Windsor of Syracuse; two grandchildren Kameron Martinez and Kayden Marker, both of Lakewood; a sister Marilyn E. Purdy of Ventura, CA; two brothers Herbert C. Marker, Jr. and Robert L. Marker, both of Jamestown and a niece Kristina M. Levin of Ventura, CA. She was preceded in death by her mother. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Visitation will not be observed. Memorials may be made to Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care, 20 W.
