Obituary of Bryan M. Kroon

Bryan M. Kroon, 34, of Buffalo, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday May 9, 2017 in his home due to a medical complication. He was born January 27, 1983 in Jamestown and graduated from Falconer Central School in 2001. Bryan graduated from SUNY Fredonia in 2006 with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He was employed at Basil Ford in Niagara Falls, NY. He is survived by his parents: mother, Mary C. Frank and step-father Mark Frank; father, Robert A. Kroon Jr. and step-mother Jo-El Thompson; paternal grandmother, Ann Kroon; aunt, Sally Kroon; uncle, Jeffrey (Kelly) Kroon and children, John Kroon (Emily Tarver) and Krista Kroon (Steve Herod). Bryan is also survived by his extended family, Sandy and Richard Weimer; Paul and Sally Lombardo; Louis and Maria Lombardo; Thomas and Lisa Lombardo; Robert and Mary Ann Morris; Deidra (Michael Holmes) Wright-Holmes and their families; step-brothers, Jason (Michelle) Frank and children Cole and Erica; Mark Frank II; step-grandmother, Linda Frank; step-grandmother, Karen Thompson (Carl Kerr); step-uncle, David Frank (Jodey Johnson); his significant other, Amanda Lee; and his best friend, Nicole Kachermeyer and her children Virginia and William. Bryan was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Berenice Keefer; maternal grandparents, Joseph X. and Mary R. Lombardo; paternal grandfather, Robert A. Kroon Sr.; maternal great grandparents, Merle "Diz" Davidson and Helen Daniels Davidson; and step-grandfather, Charles Frank. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday May 13, 2017 in the Lind Funeral Home. Pastor Garrett Lindahl will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and for one hour prior to the service Saturday in the funeral home.
