Oh Boi,,,
Where to start,,, My Aunt Rosie such a Beautiful person and Memorable one too.
I remember when I was a little girl (that's where the TIE BEGAN) I would ALWAYS go to her house Especially on Sundays,, and there is where I learned ALOT,, My Aunt showed me how to can tomatoes, squeeze raspberries through a long white new sock,, I learned my Homemade Apple Pies, crust and all, The Homemade Segue (which means sauce) the gnocchi, the Italian cookies my Aunt Rosie had so much LOVE to give and did Give ALL THE LOVE,, from making her kids clothes, to baking and cooking every single day and even though she was so TIRED, she kept on doing it for the LOVE, Aunt Rosie had a Beautiful Husband and his name is John Martinelli (which will Always be Uncle Chee-Chee to me) through ALL the times, and believe me there were WAY TOO MANY TO COUNT, OF ENDLESS TIMES OF ME BEING UP THERE. Aunt Rosie would look at me with a Smile while she was tossing that flour all over the table making the homemade crust for pies, and she would always show me how to bake and she would Never tell me to go home and oh forgot to mention her Delicious PANCAKES,,, Then we all got older and as a teenager I would always go to her apartment and there she would be crocheting and I would say to Aunt Rosie I want to learn how to crochet can you show me well when she tried to show me she just couldn't help that her fingers went wayyyy to fast for me to learn, she would spool up a crocheted blanket in about 2 days and boi were they Beautiful,,,while her crocheting she would be snapping her gum lol...we always kept in a close relationship throughout the years and when Aunt Rosie had become sick along with my Mom to whom battled COPD as well as Lung Cancer, My Mom Passed June 16th almost 11 years ago. I remember my Mom asking me if I would Help her with Aunt Rosie cause she wanted her Sister to come live with her, of course I said YES, I wanted to Help and Care for My Aunt after all she had done for me over the Years,,, Believe me it was ROUGH, TOUGH, EXHAUSTING, OVER WHELMING, A lot of Crying nights for myself, Try imagining 2 Italian Hot Headed, Bullheaded Sister's But I HELPED MY MOM AND MY AUNT 10 YEARS UNTIL AUNT ROSES SICKNESS BECAME TO WHERE SHE HAD TO HAVE PROFESSIONAL HELP DUE TO HER DEMENTIA N ALZHEIMER'S n then Mom passed away 1 year after Aunt Rosie went to a Nursing Home.. Aunt Rosie is Now layed to Rest,, NO MORE PAIN, NO MORE SUFFERING, NO MORE NOT KNOWING WHAT'S GOING ON,, I SAY 1 THING TO MY AUNT ROSIE,,, I LOVED YOU THEN, I LOVE YOU NOW AND I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER AND EVER AMEN... FLY HIGH WITH THE ANGELS AND PLAY BINGO WITH YOUR SISTER AND ALWAYS WATCH OVER YOUR LOVED ONES XOXOXOXOXOXOO
LOVE YOUR NIECE,
KIMMY
