Obituary of Rose C. Ingerson

Rose Pellerino Martinelli Ingerson, 78, of Jamestown, died at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Heritage Green Rehab & Skilled Nursing following a lengthy illness. She was born May 22, 1938 in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Sarah Cusimano Pellerino. Rose was an avid Bingo player. She also loved to crochet and was an excellent cook. She is survived by a brother, Augustine "Sonny" Pellerino of Jamestown; six daughters: Sharon Macri and Diane (Scott) Martinelli, both of Jamestown, Anna (Steve) Haglund, Angela (Ron) Barr and Toni (Michael) Melice, all of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and Connie (Danny) Martinelli of Port St. Lucie, FL; two sons: John Martinelli of Jamestown and David (Tina) Martinelli of Sugar Grove, PA; as well as 31 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Angie Calabrese. The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. John L. Kuhlmann will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, for two hours prior to the service.
