Obituary of Kathleen L. Peck

Kathleen L. "Kathy" Peck, 66, of 29 West Main St., Panama, NY, passed away at 3:51 a.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2017, in her home. An area resident for most of her life, she was born December 8, 1950 in Erie, PA, a daughter of the late Donald A. and Lois A. Kalteis Seeley, Sr. Kathy was a 1968 graduate of Sherman Central School and before retiring due to health complications was the Secretary at the Panama United Methodist Church for 19 years. In previous years she had worked as a day care provider in her home. She was a member of the Panama United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and took part in many special programs at the church. She was also a former cheerleading coach at Panama Central School. She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, William H. "Bill" Peck whom she married August 19, 1972, her children; Robert D. (Wendy) Peck of Ft. Ann, NY, Melissa D. (Glenn) Topolski of North Tonawanda, NY, Ryan E. (Jennifer Cross) Peck of Plattsburgh, NY, 6 grandchildren; Ian Ellsworth, Dylan Peck both of Ft. Ann, NY, Marissa Topolski, Braden Topolski both of North Tonawanda, NY, Shawn Hazen, Colin Cross both of Plattsburgh, NY, two sisters; Rebecca (Al) Dorr of North Tonawanda, Louann (James) Stephens of Williamsville, NY and a brother Donald (Theresa) Seeley, Jr. of North East, PA. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a niece Amanda Stephens. The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Panama United Methodist Church. The Rev. Steven Taylor, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in the Panama Union Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home.
