Obituary of Eleanor A. Todd

Eleanor Agnes Sturgeon Todd died November 9, 2017. She was born December 31, 1925 in Union City, Erie, PA to Clair Leslie and Lucy Isabell Baker Sturgeon. She was the eldest of three sisters. Thelma; who died in infancy and Beulah who died earlier this year. She married Warnie L. Todd on April 1, 1947 in Union City, PA. Warnie pre-deceased her in 1990. Surviving are her children; Sandra Ward of Riverside, CA; Warnie Dennis Todd of Bemus Point, NY; Robert B. Todd of Jamestown, NY; Judy McDonnell of Jamestown, NY. She also leaves four grandchildren; Jason, Jessica, Brandon, and Alicia and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Todd was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Jamestown and a member of the church Dorcas Society where she contributed her time making towels and dolls for sale to help the charity efforts of the church. She was well cared for by her sons in her aging years, dying in the home she helped build with her husband Warnie, overlooking Chautauqua Lake. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 130 McDaniel Ave., Jamestown, NY 14701.
