Obituary of Jean E. Gagliano

Jean E. Gagliano, 88, of 100 Prescott Drive, Jamestown, NY, passed away at 8:52 am Monday, January 29, 2018, in UPMC Chautauqua WCA Hospital. A lifelong area resident, she was born September 27, 1929 in Frewsburg, NY, a daughter of the late Harold E. and Gladys L. Comstock Littlefield. Before her retirement she was a machinist at Anderson Screw Products for 23 years. In earlier years she had worked at the former Clarke Box Factory, Jamestown Stamp Company and the former National Worsted Mills. She was a former member of the Lakewood Rod & Gun Club, the Jamestown Moose Lodge and the Herman Kent Post 777 American Legion. Surviving are a son, Robert (Linda) Gagliano of Jamestown, NY, a daughter, Rosalie (Danny Weaver) Gagliano of Dayton, NY, five grandchildren, Robert (Tammy) Blair of Cattaraugus, NY, Randy Blair, Jr. of Antioch, CA, Tammie (Ken) Harrower of Randolph, NY, Michael (Katie) Gagliano of Amherst, NY, Angelica Gagliano of Warren, PA, six great grandchildren, Felicia and Lucas Blair, Samantha, Matthew, Emily Harrower, Deacon Gagliano, a brother, George "Sonny" Littlefield of Gerry, NY and a sister, Doris Sweetheimer of Frewsburg, NY. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Lois Kesby. The funeral will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, February 2, 2018, in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Adam Rohler, pastor of First Covenant Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service on Friday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Rd. Jamestown, NY 14701.
