Obituary of Pamela G. Roat

Pamela Rae Greenlee Roat- Pam G. Roat, 70, of Lakewood, died Tuesday May 1, 2018 in Roswell Park Cancer Institute after a long hard battle with that deadly disease. She was born September 1, 1947 in Jamestown the daughter of the late Andrew and Dorothy Bryant Greenlee. Pam graduated from Southwestern Central High School in 1965 and worked at Bush Industries and later at Weber Knapp Co. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and painting anything she got her hands on. Pam is survived by her husband, George H. Roat; her previous husband, Gordon Murray; three children, Kimberly Greenlee (Mel); Keith Murray (Vannesa); Dorothy Murray Braverman (Gary); eight grandchildren, David, Michael, and Naomi Murray; Ronald and Lucas Greenlee; Drew, Henry, and Jenna Braverman; and a brother, Mark Greenlee. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Jeffrey Greenlee. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday May 7 in the Lind Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service Monday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
