Obituary of Melody E. Lebowitz

Melody E. Lebowitz, 29, of Jamestown passed away Saturday June 30, 2018 in her home of natural causes. An area resident most of her life, she was born May 15, 1989 in Owensboro, KY the daughter of Morris Lebowitz and Stacey Povich. Melody was a 2007 graduate of Jamestown High School and attended Jamestown Community College. She was a tutor with Chautauqua Striders and attended St. Luke's Episcopal Church, singing in the choir. Surviving are her mother Stacey of Jamestown; father Morris (Robin) of Pittsburgh; siblings: Marc (Caitlin) Patrick, Morrissa (Kyle) Marucci, and Patrick Lebowitz all of Pittsburgh; Jaynee Osborne of Jamestown; Zach Osborne of Mayville; paternal grandmother, Joan McDonald of KY; many aunts and uncles in PA, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Brandon Osborne; paternal grandfather, Jay Lebowitz; and maternal grandparents, Marylou "Nanny" and Pete "Jedo" Povich. Family and friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday July 4 in the Lind Funeral Home. Please bring a favorite memory or photo to share in a scrap book. The Rev. Luke Fodor will lead a prayer service during visitation.
