Obituary of James M. McKotch

James M. "Chipper" McKotch, 78, of 14 Acorn Street, Kennedy, died Saturday September 29, 2018, in Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing, surrounded by his family. He was born October 4, 1939, in Colver, PA, one of ten children born to Matthew and Frances Belin McKotch. For 40 years he was employed by MRC SKF as a machinist. He enjoyed hunting and going to the casino with his wife. Surviving are his wife Virginia Licals McKotch, whom he married July 22, 1961; siblings Paul (Carol) McKotch of Falconer, Martin (Wanda) McKotch of Jamestown, Donna (Charles) Pollaro of Albuquerque, NM, and Jean (Wayne) Berg, Sharon (David) Gollnick and Karen (James) Carlson all of Jamestown and several nieces and nephews who were like his children. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Lawrence and Ronald McKotch; a sister Audrey VanGuden; sister in law Janice McKotch; two nephews Lawrence McKotch, Jr and Robert Gunnell and a niece Sue Ann Reitz.
