Obituary of Linda E. Devereaux

Linda E. Nuse Devereaux, 68, passed away Thursday October 25, 2018 at UPMC Hamot Medical Center, Erie, PA. She was born April 10, 1950 in Jamestown the daughter of the late Lester R. Nuse and Hazel Matteson Nuse Terry. Linda attended Jamestown Community College, and worked at Cummins from 1980 until 1997. She was a member of the Herman Kent Post 777 American Legion Auxiliary. Surviving are two sons: Gordon R. Devereaux Jr. of Las Cruces, NM; Justin H. Devereaux of Lakewood, NY; four grandchildren: Valerie E. Devereaux of Las Cruces, NM; Mercedes K. Heslink of Jamestown; Victoria R. Devereaux and Austin H. Devereaux both of Lakewood; a sister, Connie L. Lampman of Blockville; and three brothers: Burton W. Nuse Sr. of Jamestown; Ernest E. Nuse Sr. of Fort Laramie, WY; and Stephen R. Nuse Sr. of Kennedy. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lester L. Nuse Sr.; and her step father, Charles R. Terry. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care.
