Obituary of Shane P. Corrigan

Shane P. Corrigan, 31 of Jamestown, passed away unexpectedly Friday November 23, 2018. He was born November 8, 1987 in Jamestown the son of Michael J. and Karen Kostka Corrigan III. Shane was a 2006 graduate of Falconer High School. He was a United States Marine Corp. veteran proudly serving a tour in Iraq. He was currently employed at Mayshark Builders. Shane was an avid snowboarder and gun collector, and enjoyed boating and hunting. He had a great love for his family, especially his nieces, nephews, and cousins. Surviving besides his parents of Jamestown are his wife, Amber Yanik Corrigan whom he married February 27, 2018; two brothers: Michael (Stephanie) Corrigan IV and their children Hunter, Mikayla, and Michael V of Jamestown; Jared Corrigan and his children Jordan and Mason of Jamestown; and his maternal grandparents, Joan and David Meredith of Sugar Grove. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather John R. Kostka; and paternal grandparents Michael J. and Lillian R. Corrigan Jr. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Levant Wesleyan Church. Pastor Al Meyers will officiate. Burial with full military honors will follow in Veterans Grove at Lake View cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home.
