Obituary of Franklin W. Ross

Franklin W. "Frank" Ross, 78, of Kennedy, passed away peacefully Thursday December 27, 2018 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born December 20, 1940 in Jamestown the son of the late Bennie W. Ross and Genevieve "Gene" Johnson Ross. For many years, he worked at Crescent Tool. After graduating from LPN School, he worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the former Jamestown General Hospital and Manor Oak Nursing Home. Surviving are three daughters: Michele Ross of Kennedy, Lynn Ross of South Carolina, Terri Ross of Jamestown; a son: David J. Lindstrom of Florida; seven grandchildren: Kyle, Taylor, Alexis, Josh, Lyndsey, Jake, and TJ; six great grandchildren: Austyn, Owen, Liam, Maddie, Conner, and Carson; two sisters: Gloria Doolittle of Jamestown, Marlayne Thomas of Oklahoma, a brother: William "Bill" Ross of Jamestown; and his beloved dog, Jay. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday January 3, 2019 in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Timothy Phelps, Hospice Chaplain will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
