Obituary of Jeffrey L. Hamrick

Jeffrey L. Hamrick, 52, of Jamestown, formerly of Kennedy, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018 at UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pa. He was born November 7, 1966 in Sacramento, CA. Jeff had been a mechanic for many years and enjoyed the Jamestown Vietnam Veterans Association. He was a man who would help anyone. His passion was working on cars and he loved his dog, Xena. His grandchildren were his whole world. Jeff is survived by three children: Amanda Hamrick of Jamestown, Matt Hamrick of Warren, Pa. and Becky Hamrick of Falconer; as well as his six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond E. Hamrick, mother, Dessie Ware Gordon and his step-mother, Betty Hamrick. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30th in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Doug Penhollow will officiate. Friends will be received for two hours prior to the service, from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Ashville.
