Obituary of Diane Sturzenbecker

Diane M. Sturzenbecker, 81, formerly of Crane Street and Busti, died Thursday March 14, 2019, in the Lutheran Retirement Home. She was born April 22, 1937, in Ashville, the daughter of the late Ernest and Dolores Casselman Anderson. She was a 1955 graduate of Southwestern Central School. An avid bowler, she was a fan of the Buffalo Bills and New York Mets. She was a former member of Eastern Star. Surviving are four children Kim (Theresa) Sturzenbecker of Gainesville, FL, Kurt (Kathy) Sturzenbecker and Kris (Vanina) Sturzenbecker both of Jamestown and Kelly (Calvin) Fain of Frewsburg; eight grandchildren Sabrina, Dan, Andrew and Jordan Sturzenbecker, Amy Hooks, Tiffany Fain, Shoshanna Irwin and Erika Doverspike; nine great grandchildren and a brother Roger Ernest (MaryAnn) Anderson of Ashville. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Rudolph Sturzenbecker, whom she married September 10, 1955 and who died September 3, 1993. Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
