Obituary of Scott A. Boss

Scott A. Boss, 59, of Jamestown, passed away unexpectedly Monday April 15, 2019 in his home. He was born August 7, 1959 in Jamestown the son of Richard F. and Beryl Johnson Boss. Scott was a 1977 graduate of Jamestown High School. Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy, serving onboard the Aircraft Carrier USS Independence until his discharge in 1981. He was currently employed at Weber Knapp Co. His passions were music, books, and movies. Surviving are his father of Jamestown, a brother, Todd R. Boss of Warren, PA; and a niece, Danielle Boss of West Seneca, NY. He was preceded in death by his mother on January 1, 2016. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday April 19 in the Lind Funeral Home. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. The Rev. Gerald Haglund will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
