During this time, he met his future wife Allene (Fusco) and they were married on July 11, 1959. In the early 60's when Frank heard about computers, they drove to Los Angeles, CA. He attended computer school and decided to stay as computers were just coming into existence. He was hired at Douglas Aircraft as a computer analyst and worked there for 40 years. When the computer department was purchased by IBM, he was hired by them and retired in 2000. Frank was a member of the American Legion Post 496 in Long Beach, CA for 43 years. His hobbies included antique beer steins and was a member of the Erste Gruppe Chapter of Stein Collectors International for many years.
