Obituary of Linda L. Cady

Linda L. Cady, 68, of 130 Catlin Ave. Jamestown, passed away at 7:02 am Wednesday, May 29, 2019, in her home following a lengthy illness. A lifelong area resident, she was born November 12, 1950 in Jamestown, NY, a daughter of the late Dale and Bette J. Triscari Stearns. In previous years she had worked for the former Quality Markets on West Third St. and also at the Salvation Army Thrift Store. She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She also cared for many children in the neighborhood over the years. She adored her grandchildren and cherished her many trips to England that she took with her husband Michael. Surviving is her loving husband and caregiver of 51 years, Michael A. Cady whom she married June 8, 1968, her four children; Margaret A. Cady, Michael S. (Nichole) Cady, Amanda L. Lundberg, Heidi M. Maloney all of Jamestown, four grandchildren; Abbey Maloney, Morgan Maloney, Jack Lundberg, Chase Lundberg, two brothers; David Stearns, Busty (Rhonda) Triscari, and a sister; Rosemarie Triscari all of Jamestown. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Norman N. and Ann M. Ciancio Cady. Linda's family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Visiting Nurses and Chautauqua County Hospice and Palliative Care for the loving care they gave to Linda and concern shown to the Cady family during her illness. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed.
