Obituary of Doreen C. Swanson

Doreen C. Swanson, 61, of 860 North Main Street, died unexpectedly Thursday June 6, 2019, in her home. She was born October 2, 1957, in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Martin and Shirley Furlow Klawon. She was a 1975 graduate of Jamestown High School and later graduated from Jamestown Community College's Licensed Practical Nursing Program. Nursing was her passion and for many years used her skills as an employee of Lutheran. Her family meant the world to her. Surviving are her husband William E. Swanson, whom she married February 20, 1978; three children William (Kelly) Swanson of Ripley, NY and Christopher Swanson and Corinne (David) Curtis both of Jamestown; fourteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a sister Dawn (Jim) Russell of Kennedy; a brother Robert Klawon of Jamestown and her fur babies Ariel and Donte. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother John Klawon. Friends will be received from 3-6 p.m. Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home. No formal service will be observed, however, Rev.
