Obituary of Patricia M. Graves

Patricia M. Graves, 89, of Gerry, formerly of Painesville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2019 in the Heritage Green Rehab & Skilled Nursing Facility. An area resident since 2011, she was born March 18, 1930, in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of the late Earl Patrick and Herbert and Louise Gruber Keener. Patricia was a graduate of Geneva High School in Geneva, Ohio and will be remembered as a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an avid and accomplished knitter and basket weaver. Before moving to Gerry, she was a member of the First Congregational Church in Painesville, Ohio, for over 50 years. Patricia is survived by her daughter, Jane (Jerry) Grice of Mayville, a son, Buz (Pamela) Graves of Tulsa, OK, a grandson, Lucas (fiancée Rachel) Marshaus of Raleigh, NC, and a sister Sharon (Phil) Berrian of Fairbanks, AK, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, William E. "Bill" Graves, whom she married Aug 1, 1949 and whom passed away on April 17, 2018, a sister Betty Green, and a brother Don Patrick. Visitation will be not observed.
