Obituary of Priscilla J. VanTassel

Priscilla Troxell VanTassel, 60, of 986 Creek Road, Sugar Grove, PA died Monday, July 8,2019 in her home surrounded by the love of Christ and her family. Priscilla had suffered from a rare heart and liver condition for many years but now has a life free from pain and full of joy. Priscilla was born October 22, 1958 in Jamestown, daughter of the late Irvin Joseph and Lois Adele Robinson Troxell. She graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1977. Before having to retire due to her illness, she was employed by WCA Hospital as a behavioral health program assistant. Priscilla's greatest love in this life was for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and her daughters and grandchildren. She was the precious youngest sister of seven siblings. She was fondly known by her mother as "Miss Minnie" and can be remembered as a tiny woman with a great faith. Priscilla loved nature and taking care of her yard and flowers. Surviving are two daughters Amanda (Brian) Rounds of Youngsville, PA and Jessica Hodges of Warren; five grandchildren: Jada Rounds and Kaitlyn Rounds both of Youngsville, Emma Vibbert of Altoona, PA, and Ayden Downey and Jackson Clark both of Erie, PA , as well as her seven siblings: Joseph (Barbera) Troxell, Sharon Andino, David (Marissa) Troxell, Daniel Troxell, Timothy (Sue) Troxell, Mary (Randy) Ames and Robin (Tom) Swanson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who knew her as "Aunt P" Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother in law, Candido J. Andino. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Youngsville Free Methodist Church. Burial will be in Busti Cemetery. Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home.
