She often ministered as choir director, organist or accompanist, most recently at Heritage Village and the Gerry Free Methodist Church. She had several interests including photography, reading, camping/traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband LeRoy (March 4, 2007). Surviving are a son Lawrence (Deborah Mott-Lundgren) Lundgren of Baldwinsville, NY; two granddaughters: Lara (Gregory) Schuler of Hamlin, NY, and Lorelle (Daniel) Vanno of New Port Richey, Florida; great grandchildren Ian Schuler, Gregory Schuler, and Larson Schuler of Hamlin, New York; Daniel Vanno and Genevieve Vanno of New Port Richey, Florida; and a sister-in-law, Norma (Brian) Pawley of Wimauma, Florida.

A memorial service will be held in August at the convenience of the family and will be announced by the Lind Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Camps Conferences and Retreat Ministries of the Upper New York Annual Conference, 7481 Henry Clay Blvd. Liverpool, NY 13088 or to Heritage Ministries, Gerry, NY.
