Obituary of Barbara T. Bochman

Barbara T. Bochman, 86, of Park St. Ext. Jamestown, NY, passed away at 12:28 am Monday, September 30, 2019, in UPMC Chautauqua. A lifelong area resident, she was born January 12, 1933 in Jamestown, NY a daughter of the late Archie and Ellen Anderson Turk. She was a 1950 graduate of Jamestown High School and before her retirement was an account clerk and typist for the former Jamestown General Hospital and for WCA Hospital. In earlier years she had worked for the Jamestown Board of Public Utilities. She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family and taking care of her home. Surviving are her husband of 66 years, Philip C. Bochman whom she married December 20, 1952, three sons, Jeffrey L. (Cici) Bochman of Westfield, NY, Timothy P. (Denise) Bochman, John E. (Brenda) Bochman both of Jamestown, four grandchildren, Kerri Smart of Jamestown, Eric Bochman of Stevens Point, WI, Nichole Bochman of Asheville, NC, Steven Bochman of Charleston, W. VA, 11 great grandchildren and a brother, James P. Turk of Paw Paw, MI. The Bochman family would like to thank Dr. Palli and the ICU staff at UPMC Chautauqua for the love and care they gave to Barbara. The funeral will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Timothy Smart of the Real Life Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Lake View Cemetery. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service on Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, 1645 West 8th St., Erie, PA 16505-5097
