Anita loved camping at Allegheny State Park, spending time in Alexandria Bay and Nashville and volunteering at the Jamestown Audubon. She was a huge fan of old country music. In more recent years, she loved watching trains in Westfield with her husband. On June 18, 1955, Anita married the love of her life, David L. Cooney, Sr. She was a loving mom of Diana (Michael) Zubrzycki, Donya (late Gregg) Moore, and David (Viva) Cooney, Jr. Very loving grandma of several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the sister of John E. (Joan) Newhall Sr. and sister in law of Nancy Newhall. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and special friends Barb and Jim Krill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers: Robert Vincent, Leslie Vincent, Harold "Skeet" Vincent, Harrison Newhall, Jr., and a sister Lois Newhall.
