Obituary of Amy L. Rodriguez

Amy L. Rodriguez, 45, of Jamestown, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020, in the UPMC Hamot Medical Center, Erie, PA. A lifelong area resident, she was born September 7, 1974 in Jamestown, NY, a daughter of Judy Babyak Rodriguez and the late Enrique "Chico" Rodriguez. Amy was a 1993 graduate of Jamestown High School. She was employed by Lutheran Social Services as a home health care aide at Hultquist Place for the past 10 years. In previous years she had worked at Tanglewood Manor and the former Manor Oak Skilled Nursing Facility She will be remembered as a dedicated worker who enjoyed helping people. She also loved playing in her pool league and was an avid New York Yankee fan. Surviving are her mother, Judy Rodriquez of Jamestown, her twin sister, Lisa Rodriguez of Ashville, NY, her sister, Angie Rodriguez of North Tonawanda, NY, two brothers, Steve (Angie) Rodriguez of Jamestown, Jamie (Melisse) Rodriguez of Ashville, and two nephews, Jeramie and Andrew Rodriguez both of Ashville. She was preceded in death by her father, Enrique "Chico" Rodriguez who died February 14, 2004. The funeral will be held at 11:00 am Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Dennis W. Mende, pastor of Holy Apostles Parish will officiate. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
