Obituary of Antonette R. Arcadipane

Antonette Rosalia Joy Arcadipane, formerly of 22 East Second Street, Lakewood, NY and the Lutheran Retirement Home in Jamestown, has gone home to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior, on Wednesday, May 13, 2020. She was the wife of Angelo Joseph Arcadipane whom she married October 22, 1955. Antonette was born September 18, 1933 in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Mary Grace Dispenza and Joseph "Harry" Joy (Gioa). She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and a member formerly of St. James Parish, and more recently of Sacred Heart Parish of Lakewood. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. This was evident by her selfless nature and contagious smile whenever in their presence. Surviving are five children: Renee (David) Hinsdale of Clymer, Yvonne (David) See of Stow, Janine (Robert) Hartzell of Russell, PA, Joseph (Nicole) Arcadipane of Lakewood, and Lisa (Troy) Sanford of Ocala, FL; nine grandchildren: Afton Hinsdale (Nicholas Bauer, fiancé), Adam, Cole, and Evan Arcadipane, Ryan (Rachel), Zachary and Matthew See, and Andrew and Tyler Sanford; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters in their childhood; and most recently a grandson, Daniel Colvin. A private service will be held for the immediate family. The Rev. Daniel S. Rumfelt will officiate. Interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery. A celebration of Antonette's life will be held and announced at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Saint Jude's Children's Research Hospital, or your local animal shelter.
