Obituary of Jerry L. Klein

On the morning of June 17th,2020, Jerry "Bubba" Klein of Ashville passed away unexpectedly in his home at the age of 54. Jerry was born July 7th 1965 to David Lee and Elaine Elizabeth Thomas Klein in Jamestown, NY. He grew up in Celeron NY. Jerry loved spending time with his family. He would always have Sunday family dinners. Grilling was one of his favorite things to do. He was a huge die hard Buffalo Bills fan. He was always all suited up for a Bills game and made sure that everyone had their jerseys on as well. Jerry loved to go hunting and fishing. Also he enjoyed playing golf with his father in law. One of his favorite past times was playing bingo with his family. Jerry will always be remembered for saying "Just remember I am always right!" He was a good friend to many. He would always be there for you and give the shirt off his back to help you out. He always saw the good in everyone, even if you didn't see it yourself. Family meant everything to him. On November 17th, 1991 he married the love of his life Barbara Gleason. Together they had three daughters, Amber(Sean)Klein of Jamestown, NY, Jessica (Justin Rabold) Klein of East Bethel ,MN, and Noel (Jacob Measel) Klein of Jamestown, NY. He has four grandchildren which he loved more than anything, Ryleigh Noel and David Lee Klein, and twin boys Roger Paul and Jackson Daniel Measel. Other surviving family includes his mother, Elaine Jensen of Ashville NY, his brother, Terry and Lisa Barrett of Youngsville PA, his sister June Matherly of Ashville NY, 6 nieces and nephews. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, David Lee Klein, his nephew Carl Eric Brown. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
