Obituary of Sally L. Mlacker

Sally L. Mlacker, 80, of Celoron, died Saturday July 4, 2020, in Heritage Village Rehab and Skilled Nursing. An area resident all of her life, she was born October 12, 1939, in Jamestown, a daughter of the late David Ahlgren and Edith Harvey Ahlgren Buck. She was a 1957 graduate of Jamestown High School. Prior to her retirement she was employed by Carrier Coach as bus monitor and earlier worked for Tanglewood Manor and Dahlstrom Manufacturing. She was a member of Falconer Rod and Gun Club and a former member of the Village of Celoron Planning Board. As a woman of many talents, Sally was an avid baker, gardener, and even a race car driver in her younger years. With an infectious smile and bright sense of humor, Sally made friends wherever she went. But, she found her greatest joy in spending time with her family and her beloved dog, Little Bear. Sally will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother whose endless support and compassion will forever be appreciated. Surviving are her husband Wayne Mlacker, whom she married October 18, 1987; two sons Scott Johnson of Battlefield, MO and Steven (Wendy) Johnson of Jamestown; four grandchildren William (Jayme) Lindberg of Kennedy, Stephanie (Bill) Vorrhis of Springfield, MO, Jennifer (Neil) Flanders of Jamestown and Haley (Jared) Needham of Bolivar, MO; seven great grandchildren Addison, Aubrey and Juliana Vorrhis, Callen , Dawsen and Hudsen Lindberg and Mackenzie Flanders and a sister Mary Ann Ahlgren of Northbrook, IL. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter in law Robin Johnson and a brother John Ahlgren. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. Visitation will not be observed.
