Obituary of Jason M. Haskin

Jason M. Haskin, 47, of 4769 Ellery Centralia Road, Bemus Point, died Thursday August 13, 2020, in UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA. He was born July 10, 1973, in Westfield, NY, a son of Sally Haskin Thunberg and David Thunberg. He was a 1991 graduate of Maple Grove Central School. A veteran of the Persian Gulf War, he served in the US Army from 1991-96. He was a self employed carpenter. Surviving besides his mother of Bemus Point and his father of Falconer are two sons Maxwell McClure and Matthew Haskin of Bemus Point; a sister Venus (Lucan) Depas of Richlands, NC; a brother David (Mila) Thunberg; nephews Caleb, Conner and Cameron Depas; stepfather Francis Phillips of Bemus Point and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Ralph and Ruth Haskin, his uncle Douglas Weston and his cousin, Leonard "Lee" Weston. A walk through public visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. Social distancing and masks are required while inside the building.
