Obituary of Janice J. Harle

God gained a beautiful angel with the biggest heart on September 9, 2020. The legacy she has left on her family is unmatched by any words that can be written. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Janice "Jan" Harle, 73, of Ashville, went home to be with the Lord. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her as she touched the lives of many. She was born in Union City, Pa., on October 30, 1946, a daughter of the late Ivan and Charlotte "Shrevie" Donachy Shreve. As a waitress, she had been employed by Erickson's Restaurant for 14 years and well known more recently at the Dutch Village Restaurant in Clymer. Janice enjoyed antique collecting and was a member of the Lakewood Rod & Gun Club and Celoron American Legion. She was a loving woman who loved her kids and grandkids greatly. Surviving is her husband of 54 years, Gregory R. Harle, Sr. whom she married May 28, 1966; two children, Crystal Todd (Richard) and Greg Harle, Jr, (Denise), both of Ashville; five grandchildren: Jordan Todd (Crystal) of Falconer, Jayden Todd of Ashville, Madalyn Metzer of Ashville, Brandon Metzer (Haley), US Army stationed in Korea, and Payton Harle of Ashville; and a sister, Mary Phanco (Harold) of Sinclairville and brother, John Shreve of Gerry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Suzanne Dewyea; and an infant brother, Donald Shreve. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Visitation will not be observed. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
