Obituary of Margaret A. Reichard

Margaret A. Reichard, 88, of Tanglewood Manor, Jamestown, NY, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020, in the Absolut of Westfield, Westfield, NY. A lifelong area resident, she was born November 29, 1931 in Jamestown, NY a daughter of the late Charles R. and Isabelle J. Durlin Roberts. She was a graduate of Jamestown High School and also the W.C.A. Hospital School of Nursing. Before her retirement, she was a Registered Nurse at W.C.A. Hospital for 40 years, working most of those years as a pediatric nurse. She attended the First Lutheran Church and was a member of the Celoron Senior Citizens where she loved going on bus trips. She was an avid bowler and reader and will be remembered for reading book after book with her cup of coffee in hand. Surviving are two daughter; Sherry Osborne of Jamestown, NY, Penny Herrick of Phoenix, AZ, two grandsons; Nicholas Herrick of Phoenix, and Zachary Osborne of Mayville, NY, two great grandsons; Dillan Herrick and Brandon Kleckner both of Phoenix, and a brother; Kenneth Roberts of Dewittville, NY. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson; Brandon T. Osborne, two brothers; Gary Roberts and Charles Roberts and a sister; Barbara Walker. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a private family service will be held in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Daniel S. Rumfelt, chaplain of the Lutheran Home will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Lake View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Western New York, 6215 Sheridan Dr. Suite 100, Amherst, NY 14221-4837 or to the Chautauqua County Mental Health Association, 31 Water St.#7, Jamestown, NY 14701.
