Obituary of Margaret W. Olson

Margaret W. Olson, 93, of 11 Tew St. Jamestown, NY, passed away at 9:02 am Monday, September 28, 2020, at UPMC Chautauqua. She was born February 25, 1927 in Dayton, OH, a daughter of the late Harold I. and Theodora Bauer Mosshammer. Margaret was a 1945 graduate of the former Bemus Point High School. During her working years, she was employed by the Garden of Eden Florist, the former Bank of Jamestown and the dental offices of Dr. Waggoner and Dr. Massone. She was a member of the Herman Kent Post 777 American Legion Auxiliary, Celoron and while living in the Villages, Florida for 24 years was active in several organizations. Surviving are her three children; Roger S. (Sandra) Winburg of Dayton, OH, Katherine A. Classon, Deborah J. Taft both of Jamestown, six grandchildren; Charissa Theobald of Liberty Township, OH, Bethany Turner of Niceville, FL, Amy Winburg of Kettering, OH, Becky Frederes of Jamestown, Devon Lloret of Ashville, NY, Dana Classon of Jamestown,12 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and two sisters; Joanne Berg of Lakewood, NY, Sylvia Ecker of Sarasota, FL. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband C. Gilbert Winburg, her second husband, John L. Olson, a great grandson, Erik Haskins, a sister, Joyce Sanders and her son-in-law, Larry W. Taft. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Sunset Hill Cemetery. Visitation will not be observed. The family suggests that memorials be made to a charity of one's choice.
