Obituary of Doris H. Mangine

Doris H. "Nana" Mangine, 90, formerly of Shadyside Avenue, Lakewood, died Sunday November 8, 2020, in Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing. She was born August 25, 1930, in Mount Jewett, PA, a daughter of the late Harry and Mollie Lester Kaltenbach. She was a 1948 graduate of Randolph Central School. Prior to her retirement she was employed by Lutheran Social Services as Director of Housekeeping. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a member of its Altar and Rosary Society. She adored her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and in return they absolutely adored her. She was kind, loving, funny and selfless. She loved her catholic faith and was loved by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed. Surviving are four children Michael (Mary) Mangine III of Frewsburg, Cheryl (James) Uhrmacher of Erie, PA, John (Susan) Mangine of Lakewood and Carol (Robert) Morrison of Randolph; seven grandchildren John (Amanda) Mangine, Jr., Julie (Curtis) Strong, Jennifer (Joseph) Omilanowicz, Andrew (Whitney) Morrison, Ross Morrison, Jamie (Kavita) Uhrmacher and Casey (Dennis) Fisher; eleven great grandchildren Cooper, Evan and Collin Strong, Angelo, Michael and Morgan Mangine, Parker, Jordyn and Kaide Morrison, Austin Fisher and Henry Omilanowicz; two sisters Shirley (Douglas) Morley of Randolph and Mary Housewerth of Lebonon, PA and and by the Russo family who "adopted" the Mangine's so long ago and made them family. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Michael Mangine, Jr. whom she married August 12, 1949 and who died July 22, 2005; two brothers Phillip "Bud" Willibey and Harry Kaltenbach, Jr. and two sisters Betty Elliott and Elsie Smith. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
