Obituary of Denise M. Koerselman

Denise M. Person (Koerselman) went to be with the Lord November 1, 2020 with her family by her side. Denise was born May 28, 1963 in Jamestown, New York, and was a graduate of Southwestern Central High School, class of 1981. She was a very outgoing person. She loved to dance and being outdoors, especially in warm, sunny weather. She had a love of baking and cooking, which she had learned to do from her beloved grandmother. She also had a passion for country music, especially Alan Jackson. Her greatest gift in life was her family, especially her children and her grandchildren. They were the highlight of her life and the beat to her heart. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Annette and Homer Trout; her children, Chad Whitermore, Holly Whitermore, and Lucas Koerselman (Lucas Vasconcellos); her two sisters, Beth Person and Gloria Trout, and her brother John Trout; her grandchildren, Ty Whitermore, Brody Wallace and Addison Whitermore; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, great nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gordon and Alberta Carlson and her uncle Merrill Carlson. No visitation or funeral will be held per her wishes. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
